Dr. Doswell earned a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College with degrees in Psychology (cognitive neuro-psychology) and Computer Science, a Masters degree in Systems and Computer Science from Howard University, and a PhD degree in Information Technology from George Mason University in 2005. In 2002, Dr. Doswell was one of thirty-nine individuals in the United States chosen by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) as a Pacesetter in Technology. Dr. Doswell also served on a committee to help create the first Health Informatics and Information Technology (HIIT) section within the American Public Health Association (APHA), the largest public health association in the United States. Dr. Doswell is also a “Who’s Who of Information Technology.”
Dr. Doswell’s research is published around the world and is frequently invited to speak on a range of technical and business related topics ranging from wearable computers, public health informatics, and telehealth/telemedicine, to e-learning and entrepreneurship. Dr. Doswell is an active member of the American Telemedicine Society (ATA), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and American Public Health Association (APHA).

Dr. Hill’s education includes receipt of the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degrees.
Dr. Hill’s senior physician executive experience includes serving as the Managing Director of Forensic Perinatal, LLC, which is a perinatal-neonatal neurological patient safety contract research organization (CRO). He also brings similar consulting experience as a strategic advisor to law firms throughout the nation engaged in complex medical-oriented disputes surrounding the medical mechanisms and causation of perinatal-neonatal neurological adversity.
Dr. Hill has served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery during which he managed the Department of Navy’s involvement in the Civilian Physician External Peer Review Project (CPEPR), a national study mandated by U.S. Congress involving civilian physician panel evaluation of the quality of U.S. military physician care during 10,000 patient encounters. He also managed the Department of Navy’s participation in the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organization’s (JCAHO) accreditation program for the Department of Navy’s 137 military treatment facilities worldwide. Dr. Hill also represented the Department of Navy’s participation in the initial planning and development of the National Practitioner Databank.
Dr. Hill served as a Senior Program Officer at the National Academy of Science’s Institute of Medicine and served as the Study Director of “Environmental Justice: Research, Education, and Health Policy Needs”. This national study was commissioned by the President of the United States (Executive Order 12898) to determine policy-making direction concerning the adverse impact of environmental toxicants on minority and socio-economically deprived communities. The study results produced policy recommendations that were reported to the U.S. Congress and the body of work was subsequently published as a book by the National Academy Press (1999).
Dr. Hill’s involvement in technology innovation includes developing the clinical algorithm component of the following clinical performance innovations: a clinical software application determining patient adverse outcome risk based on physician management of specific clinical conditions and diagnoses; a clinical software application providing computer-generated interpretation of cardio-tocography tracings to promote uniformity of fetal surveillance interpretation and to decrease inter-observer and intra-observer physician variation; and a clinical software application providing real-time clinical decision guidance to and performance evaluation of nurses managing pregnant patients in labor. Dr. Hill also has experience as an angel investor of technology based companies and has years of experience working with venture capital firms focused in the emerging technology sector.

Mr. Johnson’s education includes a Finance MBA as well as Electrical and Industrial Engineering degrees.
Mr. Johnson is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a founding partner in a successful commercial Real Estate practice in Virginia. He has expertise in financial analysis, market analysis, and the application of decision science in developing business solutions. He also has over 15 years experience in operations management and business process improvement, as an executive with Motorola, AT&T Computer Systems Group and ECI Telecom. Mr. Johnson’s responsibilities have included operations in Japan, Brazil and several sites throughout the United States.

Mr. Whitney graduated from Oglethorpe University (Atlanta, GA) in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 1997, Mr. Whitney earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While at Wisconsin, he was an Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and was selected to be a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Whitney clerked for the Honorable U.W. Clemon (ret.), former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and the first African-American federal judge in the State of Alabama. Over the years, Mr. Whitney has obtained extensive experience, representing clients in state and federal courts across the country and before various administrative agencies and arbitrators.
Mr. Whitney is a member of the Alabama Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the National Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, and the International Association of Black Professionals in International Affairs. Mr. Whitney has traveled extensively throughout Africa and the Caribbean and is asked to serve on a myriad of national and international boards for both profit and not-for-profit entities.

Prior to joining Juxtopia, Dr. Adams served in a leadership/policy managerial clinical position in healthcare to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS)/U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Adams has served as Acting Medical Director of a hospital as well as Chief Medical Officer of six clinics. She has supervised contract physicians (multi-specialty), registered nurses, physician assistants, certified nurse practitioners, support staff personnel, and fourth year medical students to provide care for several thousands employees. Dr. Adams also served in academia as an Associate/Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Campus. As Senior Medical Officer at the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR), Dr. Adams was responsible for introducing The Center for Information Technology to the conceptualization, planning and implementation and evaluation of clinically related issues within automated medical information systems. Dr. Adams is one of thirty-nine individuals in the United States who was chosen by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) as a Pacesetter in Technology, associated with the Georgia Centers for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Adams continues to be involved in issues related to reducing health disparities. In July 2003, Dr. Adams was invited by the World Health Organization, the National Institutes of Health, and the South African Research Council to accompany these organizations to Cape Town, South Africa and present on "Addressing Issues of Health Disparities in International Communities." As a LEGIS Fellow to former Congressman Louis Stokes (D-OH -Retired), Dr. Adams was responsible in assisting the Congressman draft written legislation.
Dr. Adams continues to advise the federal, state, and local governments as well as industry about healthcare, telehealth/telemedicine, health care policy, public health outcomes, effective health care delivery, and innovative health care technology. Dr. Adams has been an active member of the American Public Health Association (APHA) for many years and active in the Health Administration Section (HAS). Moreover, Dr. Adams is Founder and Chair of the Health Informatics Information Technology (HIIT) section of APHA.
